My journey in design began during university times and, in addition to BIM, also involved CAD engineering design. Specifically, I worked on the design of architectural metal structures: partitions, various types of custom-made doors, windows, stairs and railings.
Role: Structural and conceptual designer
Task(s): Design, project coordination, business communication
Year: 2017 - 2022
From time to time, I returned to this work to propose new ideas, including the use of Inventor and 3D modelling approaches for product design and fabrication drawings, and the implementation of project management systems. Using 3D modelling tools, a series of IKEA-style assembly instructions was created for the manufacturers.
Working on projects for Crystalia Glass was an interesting experience. Over a hundred projects were produced for the American market. Their portfolio includes various projects in major cities, adorning buildings such as Madison Square Garden, Starbucks, and Nike. My involvement in these projects gave me a lot of insights, not only from a technical point of view, but also inspired me in terms of doing business.
