In addition to my role as a BIM Manager in detailed design projects, I have also worked as an external consultant, supporting the implementation of BIM processes during the early stages of design.

One example is a residential building project for a luxury developer, where I assisted the design team of Laptev&Partners in integrating BIM tools on the conceptual phase. The objective included applying BIM methodology to conceptual design and form finding, helping teams unlock the full potential of parametric and data-driven workflows.

As part of the conceptual design phase, an analysis was conducted to estimate the hours of direct incident sunlight on apartments' side. Through the use of parametric modeling, Dynamo, and Python scripts, tools were developed to support the architecture team in evaluating illuminance across the project.

Additionally, the rhythm and tectonics of the façade were explored in detail using parametric methods. Even at the early design stage, detailed modeling and automated specification generation were implemented to support design decisions and streamline documentation.
